Who We Are
Tracey Kitching
Vice Chairman
Hello, my name is Tracey Kitching and I am currently the Vice Chairman of NASCH. I have been involved with the association for the last 30 years or so, holding various positions including Social Secretary and Chairman before becoming Vice Chairman.
I started working with swimming clubs for people with special needs when I was a member of St John Ambulance Cadets and have remained with The Dolphin Swimming Club in Stevenage since. I have held various positions with them and am currently their Treasurer.
Covid has seen most of our member clubs close when sports facilities were unable to remain open. Most have now reopened are welcoming members old and new through their doors. There are still restrictions in place and some members are concerned about returning but it is pleasing to see that life is beginning to return to some normality and friends are able to meet again, exercise and have fun together.
For those of you who have special needs or have friends with special needs and believe swimming would help, please contact the NASCH Office on 01329 833689 and they will be able to put you in touch with a club near your home.
Other activities that you could enjoy with your club could include taking part in galas, outings and get togethers. NASCH organise a National Gala at Leamington Spa and an annual camp in Farnham, Surrey. The opportunity of making new friends is endless.
For those of you who would like to make a donation, to help towards the Association’s costs in organising the aforementioned events, please see our donations page. Regardless of the amount, every penny is greatly appreciated.
